Q: What kind of church is this?
A: We are come-as-you-are. We’re for people who have been over-churched or unchurched. We don’t have any creeds or sayings you have to say or memorize, and you won’t feel like you don’t belong because of rituals or cliques. We are grace-based in our delivery of God’s word. No condemnation here. We know that there is nothing any of us can do to make God love us less, so there’s no need to finger-point and condemn people! After all, Christ did not come to this world to condemn, but instead to serve. We are an interdenominational church which means we welcome people from all religious backgrounds or no religious backgrounds. So, if you’ve never been to church, or it’s been years since you’ve been to church, or you got sick and tired of church, or you’re just curious what the God thing is all about, you’ll like it here. You’ll find us to be a lighthouse, not a clubhouse. No one sits on a high horse at BCC.

Q: Do you have music and services online or on DVD?
A: You may listen and download music and watch videos on our website. You can get audio CD's of the pastors' messages right now at the Tapes and Resource Center in the Atrium. You can always get the most recent messages by going to the message archive page on this website. We also broadcast each of our services live over the internet. We don’t have any plans to master music or services to DVD at this time.

Q: What are you doing to help or reach out to the community?
A: We are involved in a number of ministries including Souls for Souls; 1000 Coat Weekend; Habitat for Humanity; the Rescue Mission; Hurricane Katrina (we took tractor trailer loads of water, food, toiletries, clothing, and other items while helping to clean up residential neighborhoods in New Orleans); relief effort for the Tsunami victims in Thailand; 3rd of July (annual fireworks celebration open to the community). In June 2008, we are planning a missions trip to Mexico. Families with kids as young as age 6 are welcome to come for this 5-day mission. Be sure to check out www.hopepark.com for the latest updates.
