Bellevue Community Church provides a Premarital Marriage Ministry for newly engaged couples to help prepare them for marriage and a personal journey in their Christian faith. This ministry is designed for members and attenders of BCC, and their spouse-to-be, to gain greater insights into a satisfying, Christ-centered marriage.

A wedding is a day and a marriage is a lifetime. Therefore, we expect the engaged-couple to invest some time during the preparation period that will help them throughout their marriage. Our commitment is to prepare engaged couples for a life-long, God-glorifying covenant marriage with this ministry.

Bellevue Community Church Pastors can only support and officiate weddings after the completion of our premarital counseling (mentoring) program. Due to the time commitment involved, the initial premarriage meeting with our Pastor of Ministries must be scheduled at least six (6) months prior to the wedding date. This allows for adequate time to schedule and complete the remaining sessions.

How to Get Started

Once the forms have been received and reviewed, the groom will be contacted to set-up an initial meeting for both to meet with the Pastor who will perform the ceremony. If the engaged-couple has already secured another Pastor (either in town or out-of-state) to perform the ceremony, BCC will still happily provide the premarriage mentoring.
